Information we receive
Ideas for new savings reports wait for us to look at them, with any name or email you add.
Tips, ratings and comments you post are saved and can appear on the page, and you can ask us to remove one.
To count each person once, a code that cannot be turned back into an address is kept, and the address itself is thrown away.
We record simple tallies of which pages and links get used, stripped of personal details.
As on any site, our hosting provider keeps a record of the IP address, browser and page requested, so problems and abuse can be traced.
What stays in your browser
Numbers you enter in the calculators stay on your device.
About cookies
An ordinary visit requires no login, and our own cookies are not part of it.
Should we add traffic measurement or ads, they may rely on cookies, which your settings can block.
Who else gets it
We do not trade or sell personal details from HeftySavings to advertisers or anyone else. Except for the services that keep heftysavings.com running, nobody else receives your data unless a court or law demands it.
Removing your details
To see, correct or delete what we hold, drop a line to save@heftysavings.com; we act on every request.
Other things to know
Our pages on cutting household bills are meant for adults and teens, so please let us know if a child has sent details.
Whenever this notice changes, the revised version replaces this one with the date updated.
